MEET THE TEACHER AND CREATOR OF PT SPANISH 

Hi, I'm Joshua! I am a current Physical Therapist Assistant, and am also an experienced PA licensed Spanish teacher. Back in 2019 I created and taught an in-person Spanish course designed for PTs, PTAs, OTs, and COTAs. This course was approved for CE credit in Pennsylvania, and provided the skills and resources for clinicians to successfully communicate with their Spanish speaking patients in the PT and OT setting!

What sets me apart as an effective Spanish teacher is not only my background in education, but also my experience living and working in Spain. During my 3 years living in Spain, I gained considerable experience speaking Spanish as this was the language I had to use daily to live my life there. It is this practical experience, along with my formal training as a Spanish teacher, that allows me to effectively design lessons that meet the needs of those in PT and OT.

As a PTA with experience in the inpatient rehab and acute settings, as well as in outpatient neuro and ortho, I have combined my experience and skill in both professions, to create applicable Spanish lessons for PTs, PTAs, OTs, and COTAs.
